 The Firm Foundation

Founded in 1973, Lehigh Christian Academy is the oldest evangelical Christian school in the Lehigh Valley. It was established in order to provide a thorough, complete, and consistently Christian education for the area's Christian families. Lehigh Christian Academy's administration, faculty and staff partner with the home to meet the intellectual, physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of each student.

Three evangelical churches, Bethany United Methodist ChurchCedar Crest Bible Fellowship Church, and Relevant Church, jointly operate and govern Lehigh Christian Academy. Representatives of each church form the Board of Directors, which sets policy, make corporate commitments, and conduct hiring and dismissal. The administrator is the appointed executive and a delegate of the Board. Administration establishes procedures and carries out Board policies.
